IC443-Reflection Nebula |
|
| This Reflection Nebula is very hard to photograph because of the tremendous brightness of the star that lights the nebula. This was one 60 minute image on PPF 400 unhypered film which had to be highly processed to bring out all of the filamentary parts of the nebula. This kind of object is not the best for the Canon 400mm 2.8 lens. |

Canon 2.8 lens mounted on a C14 and guided with an ST7. The seeing conditions were poor due to mist in the sky. |

| This image was scanned and received little processing. I was surprised that the colors were not as intense as I have seen, but I feel this may be closer to the natural colr. |
